Relief from Winter Blahs
Winter can be a busy and stressful time. As Amy Steinbauer pointed out in a recent post, it’s important to practice patience with yourself and coworkers. Relief from the winter blahs is only a few pages away. Around this time of year I’m frequently searching for relief in the comforting glow of a daylight lamp and respite from the cold, short days. While I’m a big believer in cultivating all ages outdoor experiences in all kinds of weather, I know winter’s short days and cold temperatures often translate into a lot less outside playtime. And more bottled up energy for young people.
